By Barbara Techel, Frankies mom. Frankie was star of the true, inspirational children’s book series, Frankie the Walk ‘N Roll Dog, about overcoming challenges & making a difference despite obstacles. She was Wisconsin’s Pet Hall of Fame Companion Dog 2009 because of the positive awareness she brought to animals with disabilities, as well as helping thousands of children see their challenges in a positive way. She was also a certified therapy dog and brought joy and love to others. My life will never be the same with Frankie gone… but my life will never be the same for her having been in it.
