Hello from Happydog…….Mama and I are going to be taking a new training class that will help us work as a team so that I can become Momma’s service dog. Yes, a properly medicated dachshund, with cognitive dysfunction still has a job to do. Momma has diabetes, and she has no sense of smell. She also has a vision disability, which makes seeing down difficult, and I am down, and Momma can see me. I can smell, and I can smell fire and gas, that Momma can’t smell. I also can smell when Momma’s blood sugar drops, and I start barking. People think only big dogs, and young dogs can be service dogs, or helper dogs, but I have been protecting Momma my whole life, and she still needs me, so we are going to make it official. Wish us luck, and pray for us. Luckily, we live in an area which takes this very seriously. Lots of love. Happydog and MommaJayeSee More
