Losing an owner leads to happy ending for Henry.

This is Henry Huntsberger :) he is a 5 yr old Dachshund that I rescued from texas while I was back there for a horse show :) He is sleeping on his bast friend Lola who was with me when he “found us”  He loves her almost more then he loves m…e :) his wonderful owner passed away from a sudden heart attack in jan. and sweet henry was left abandoned in the back yard. The wife (seperated at the time) wanted nothing to do with him. He had no food or shelter but thanks to the sweet elderly women next door he was given fresh water daily and her table scraps after every meal (she could not afford dog food) Better then nothin. he had huge stickers imbedded in his belly and rain rot on his ears. Henry is the most wonderful, sweet, funny and loving little man I could ever ask for. I thank God everyday for bringing him into our lives :)
